Kristen Hughes

I’m Kristen Hughes, a Commercial Customer Service Representative with TWFG Jeff Kincaid Insurance, and a lifelong resident of Shelby, North Carolina. I’ve proudly lived and worked in the Shelby community for many years, and I understand firsthand the needs of local businesses operating in Cleveland County and surrounding areas.

I’ve been part of the TWFG Jeff Kincaid Insurance team since 2019 and have been a licensed insurance agent for six years. My role focuses on supporting our commercial insurance clients, helping business owners navigate the details of their coverage so their operations stay protected, compliant, and moving forward.

I specialize in working with commercial insurance policies, assisting businesses with day-to-day service needs, coverage updates, certificates of insurance, and policy requirements. I pay close attention to the “small moving parts” of commercial insurance, because those details often make the biggest difference—especially when business owners need to meet insurance requirements to secure contracts, start new projects, or keep jobs on track.

What I enjoy most about my job is making insurance as simple and stress-free as possible. My goal is to create a smooth, positive experience for our commercial clients by providing clear communication, timely service, and dependable support they can count on.

Outside of the office, I enjoy cooking and spending time with my husband and son. Family time and creating a warm home environment are important to me, just as helping our clients feel confident that their businesses and investments are properly insured.
