Michael Richey

I was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and have lived throughout the southern U.S. over the years. I now call Hickory, North Carolina, home, having arrived here by way of Tennessee, Texas, and Alabama. I have lived and worked in the area for 27 years, giving me a strong connection to the local business community.

I have been in the insurance industry since 2024, with prior experience in the restoration industry that gave me a solid foundation in understanding policies and risk management. As a Commercial Insurance Agent at TWFG Jeff Kincaid Insurance, I specialize in helping businesses secure the coverage they need to protect their investments. I enjoy the challenge of designing policies that provide comprehensive protection while meeting the unique needs of each client.

I hold Property and Casualty insurance licenses for the State of North Carolina and actively participate in the local community through organizations such as the Catawba Chamber of Commerce, Burke County Chamber of Commerce, Carolina Caring Hospice, Western Piedmont HBA, Catawba County Action Professionals, and my church men’s group.

Outside of work, my wife and I enjoy time with our five children and ten grandchildren. When I can find a little extra time, I love classic cars, good music, golf, and spending time outdoors.
