Prevent The Preventable
There is a huge problem in our community. Almost 50 children every hour are heading to the emergency departments with a wheeled sports-related injury. Nearly 50 percent of parents say their child doesn’t always wear a helmet while riding. However, this is a problem we can fix. Although we might not be able to predict every danger out there for our children, it’s a fact that children are dying in preventable ways.
The numbers are also not moving in the direction we want. It is hard to imagine anything worse than a parent losing a child to a completely preventable situation. Jeff Kincaid Insurance Group is passionate about making sure that families have access to information and resources they need to keep their children safe. We hope to have a part in giving children the change to grow up and accomplish every dream they have. “Properly-fitted helmets can reduce the risk of head injuries by at least 45 percent – yet less than half of children 14 and under usually wear a bike helmet.”
We are passionate about continuing to support Safe Kids’ mission of “working to help families and communities keep kids safe from injuries.” As the protectors of our community, we understand this mission very deeply and intend to see it through.
We are committed to raising awareness and supporting Safe Kids, and then giving our customers, business partners…and anybody else that cares, the ability to help them and make an impact themselves. We will donate $10 towards our current Community Cause campaign for every single person that gets recommended to our agency for a quote.
